IGLYO is organizing a study session called “Knock knock, who’s there?” LGBTQ young people at the doorsteps of health care: Understanding obstacles and increasing access taking place in Strasbourg, France from 28 November to 5 December 2010. There is an opening for three preparatory team members to help plan, organize and facilitate this study session. The team will consist in total of six people, taking into consideration gender and geographical balance in the team. Interested candidates can apply by sending a motivation letter to the IGLYO coordinators at lgbthealth(at)iglyo.com. Deadline for motivation letters is Friday 20 August 2010, 6pm CET. Our good friends at ANSO are hosting an exciting study session in Strassbourg in March:
ANSO, Association of Nordic and Pol-Balt Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Student (LGBTQ) Organizations would like to invite you to a study session called Gender Queer University: Questioning Norms in Higher Education, with the aim of creating knowledge and tools for working with gender, gender identity and gender expression in higher education.
The session takes place from 14 to 21 March. We would like to hear from anyone who’s interested in going. Note that all travels expenses are covered. The original call for participants can be found here.
