New open-stage in Copenhagen for homo, bi, trans, queer students and their friends
On 10 November BLUS will host an open-stage night for musicians, poets and comedians. “The purpose of this event is to create a new musical and creative scene for homo, bi, trans and queer people” says the future host, songwriter Chili goes Chili. Chili has played at Copenhagen Pride 09, and Women’s Space at the World Outgames ‘09 amongst other venues including the legendary New York gay bar The Stonewall Inn.
This evening in November is a sneak peak of what is to become a regular BLUS event during the spring. Do you have a few songs up your sleeve? Are you a born entertainer? Are you blessed with a poetic tongue? Or do you just want to listen? Then come by Studenterhuset this Tuesday at 20.
On the programme already:

Would you be interested in hosting an international guest from the IGLYO conference for six days in connection to the start of the OutGames? The International Gay & Lesbian Youth Organisation Conference takes place in Amsterdam in mid July. Twenty of these participants have been handpicked to present the conclusions of the conference at the OutGames Human Rights Conference here in Copenhagen. BLUS is one of two local partners to IGLYO, (Landsforeningen for Bøsser og Lesbiske (LBL) is the other), and has thus taken upon itself to find accommodation for these guests.
