Gunna Højgaard from the massageschool will join us, and teach (instructions will be given in english and danish) us how to give a pleasurable and relieving massage. The time has come for BLUS to visit the nice and cosy LESBISK KAFFE & ØLBAR that opened on Enghavevej at Vesterbro last October. Bring a friend or two, or just use this opportunity to catch up with BLUS friends again, after having spent January with your head buried in the books.

We had a fabulous time together for our last event this semester at Huset i Magstræde. We made christmas decorations, christmas cards and enjoyed each others company while eating christmas snacks and drinking beer/drinks from the bar.

This year Bingo Mayhem was fabulous! We had a splendid time with our dragqueen trio Søstrene Dú Nord and their humorous bingo performance. BLUS sold Bingo Cards and the money will be given to Kafe Knud. BLUS Gay Rights and Homonationalism

Michael Nebeling Petersen was invited to speak about his research on gay rights and homonationalism (Tuesday 22-11-11). His presentation included a comprehensive explanation of queer theory as a theoretical frame, which included terms such as biopower, homonormativity and homonationalism, and used this article to point out how homonormativity and homonationalism relates to it: København til kæmpe homofest.
