The Pride Parade 2011 is over – and we can’t wait until next year !!
We started the day at the University, where we raised the rainbow flag on the mail building. Then, delicious breakfast with bubbles and Thomas (BLUS), Ea (Studenterråd) and Henrik (KU) said a few words. After that we biked/walked to Frederiksberg Rådhusplads and decorated our Christiania Bikes and ourselves the BLUS way ! We were looking fab with our new BLUS Ts on, flags, ballons and all kinds of partyparty decorations We were so lucky to have some of the Sabaah people walking with us. That made everything just a little bit better The weather was great, and all in all a perfect day !

BLUS is a part of the Copenhagen Pride Parade again this year – and it is going to be FAB! Join us!!!
It takes place on the 20th of August. We meet at Fredriksberg Rådhus at 12:00 to get prepared. We have BLUS T-shirts and a huge BLUS banner, that way you can find us (you can also just look for the cutest people smiling the most – that’s us). You will also be able to buy a T-shirt there. It is completely safe to join us even if you don’t know us – just find a person in a BLUS T-shirt and they will hold your hand !!
Birthday Theme
Last year the theme was “Dress your major” In November, BLUS is celebrating it’s 15 year anniversary, thus we’ve decided to go with a birthday theme

Reception at the University of Copenhagen
University of Copenhagen has invited us to come help erect the rainbow flag on top of the main building. We are going to raise the rainbow flag at the top of the main building – making the University gay for a day After the flag is safely erected, the University will host a reception with free bubbly refreshments and a light snack. Everyone who wants to join for the reception please click “attending” on our FB event, so we can tell them how much bubbles we need
